# B2B Solution | How to deal with Custom/B2B Shipping Rate x Store Pickup

When you use our Custom/B2B Shipping (Shipping Rate), we will override the whole Shipping Method from Shopify in order to display our rate at Checkout. Since Store Pickup is included in Shopify Shipping Method, it won't be available at Checkout anymore if our rate is applied. Many clients have asked for this so in this article, we will guide you a workaround where you can still have Store Pickup along with our app.

# 1. Solution
* We will implement a customization to create 2 extra buttons as **Pickup** and **Shipping to Address** on Cart for specific customers. For example, if you apply Custom/B2B Shipping Rate to **B2B** or **Wholesale** customer tags, only those customers login can see those 2 buttons on Cart. Based on their selection, our system can determine either to run our logic for custom shipping rate or not. Also, we will add this section right above the Checkout option so that you customers can notice and pick their preferred method before placing orders. 
* Regarding the section position and texts, we can for sure following your requirement. This image is simply just an example how it will look on Cart.

# 2. Result
1. **Pickup button**
If customers want to go for Pickup option, they can click this button on Cart where we will remove our Shipping Rate events from Checkout button and Pickup option will be available at Checkout.

2. **Shipping to address**
If customers want to ship to their address, they can choose this button on Cart where the logic of our Custom/B2B Shipping will run normally. As a result, our rate will override everything and display at Checkout.

# 3. Pros & Cons
1. **Pickup button**
* **Pros**: This button helps to display Store Pickup option along with our app at Checkout
* **Cons**: Our Shipping Rate logic will stop running and display Shopify shipping methods only in which customers can select cheaper rates than B2B rates. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/c/4/a/6/c4a62a42ab467800/image_1cnbm7l.png)
2. **Shipping to address**
* **Pros**: Normally, B2B orders are much bigger than normal ones and you might need to charge b2b orders with higher rates. In this case, B2B rates from our app will be applied without any other options.
* **Cons**: Store pickup option won't be available at Checkout!
