This article will guide you on how to create a secret collection just for those who are approved with b2b apps. There are three main steps as follows:

Create a collection

From Shopify Admin page, go to Products > Collections > Create Collection

Create a Lock rule

1. From B: B2B Lock, Login & Password app admin, go to Locks > Add Lock > Create my own lock > Select
2. In Lock content, select Collection > Specific collection > choose the collection you want to lock

3. Move to Control access > Rule to access, please select "If the customer is tagged with approved"

Grant access permission

There are two approaches:

1. Manually assign customer tags

Manually access the created customer accounts in Shopify Customers folder > assign tag approved to the customers you want. This approach is helpful if you don't need to collect much information for your customers and want to save your cost.

2. Auto Assign customer tag

If you want to build a professional registration form to collect detailed customers' information before granting access, please use this second approach. Use Registration Form feature on BSS: B2B & Wholesale Solution. Please go to Customer Management > Registration Form > Configuration > Create Form, you will see the option Manual Approval after registration and auto assign tag after approval:

After customers register with the created form, please go to Customer Management > Registration Form > Registration Management to review and approve the pending accounts:

As a result, customer accounts will be created in Shopify Customers folder and the tag "approved" will be auto assigned to these accounts, and they can log in to view the private collection.
