In general, both Custom Pricing and Price list per customer modules can help you set custom prices for specific customer groups. But why do they stand as two separate modules? This article will give you more details about the differences between the two modules so you can select the one that fits your business.
Custom Pricing allows you to set one price/discount amount per rule, for example:
Apply 10% discount on all products
Decrease $10 in price of all products in collection Wholesale
Apply a specific price to a product (Assume that the original of that product is $100). You can set customer price = $90
Setting the same discount to multiple products/collections is an advantage of Custom Pricing. But if you want to set each product to have specific custom price, you need to create multiple Custom Pricing rules.
