B2B Solution | How to Set Up Tiered Pricing and Custom Price Lists.

🎯 Objective

Offer different prices to different types of B2B customers—automatically. With the BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution app, you can set up tiered pricing and custom price lists based on tags, customer groups, and purchase quantity. This guide shows you how to do it step by step.

✅ Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Group Your B2B Customers Using Auto Tag or Registration form

To apply different price levels, you need to classify your customers first.

  • Use Auto Tag to tag customers by: Registration form submissions, Order value, Purchase frequency

  • Example tags: b2b_level_1, b2b_level_2, b2b_school, b2b_vip👉 These tags will help apply the right pricing rules for each segment.

Step 2: Set Up Custom Pricing Rules per Customer Tag

Go to the Custom Pricing module and:
We will need to create three separate rules corresponding to the three customer tags.
Let’s start by creating a sample rule for the tag b2b_level_1.

  1. Select “Apply to Customer Tags”
  2. Set the tag condition: b2b_level_1 with 5% discount for all products
You can repeat this process for other tags:
  • b2b_level_2: 10% off
  • b2b_vip: Fixed price or deeper discount
📌 The system will automatically detect and apply the correct rule based on the tag attached to the logged-in customer.

Step 3 (Optional): Add Quantity Breaks per Price Tier

Want to give bigger discounts based on quantity?

  1. Use the Quantity/Amount Break Table
  2. Set different breakpoints for each tag such as b2b_vip:
  • Buy 10+, get 25% off
  • Buy 20+, get 35% off
  • Buy 50+, get 50% off
🧠 Combine tiered pricing + volume discount for more effective upselling.

🔁 Result:

  • Customers will automatically see prices tailored to their tag level
  • Higher-value customers get better prices or incentives
  • No manual edits needed once set up
