#1 Setup registration form and URL
- At the moment, our app provides 2 different forms which are Wholesale Form (can work with both Legacy Account and New Customer Account type) and Multi-steps Form (can only work with new Customer Account Type). Please check this article to pickup the best form type for your store: Wholesale Registration Form vs Multi-steps Form.
- Once you have you decision, you need to start configuring your form fields, form URL and other configs of the form under Customer management > Registration Forms > Configuration.
- And don't forget to tick on Email notification for approved/declined customers to get notifications of all registration stages such as pending, approved or rejected.
#2 Setup email notifications
- If you use our email notifications in the app
- Customer management > Registration Forms > Email configuration is where you can setup your email configurations.
- If you are on New Customer Account type, you don't need to enable the Activate your account email.
- If you are on Legacy Account type, you can enable the Activate your account email in order existing emails to activate their accounts and set their passwords.
- If you don't want to use our email notifications in the app, you can integrate and use email templates from Klaviyo
- Please integrate with Klaviyo here
- And follow this user guide to do it: Integration with Klaviyo.
#3 Setup and verify sender email
This is a very important part that many users miss or get confused. Also, this steps help to send email notifications properly under your own email server.
- First, please follow this user guide to know how to setup your sender email: Sender Email guide.
- After you've confirmed your sender email, pls navigate to Advanced Settings > Sender email customization where you find a View DNS details button.
- Please paste these 2 records into your own hosting/DNS settings.
- Once you are done, it will take up to 24 hours for the new settings applied. If it's still not working correctly, please drop us a message at support-sbc@bsscommerce.com or via our Live Chat in the app.
- As a result, the app will say Verified and your setup is done.
